Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines guided relaxation with focused conversation to explore practical ways of moving forward.
Hypnosis is a calm, focused state - a bit like daydreaming - that can help the mind notice new perspectives and ways of responding.
Sessions are centred on your preferred future and small, achievable steps, encouraging coping in the present and exploring positive changes for the future.
By working with your existing strengths and resources, Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy creates space to notice different ways of responding to challenges and to practice strategies that support wellbeing between sessions.
At its heart, Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy is about identifying the future you want and taking achievable steps toward it.

Step 1:
Discovery Call
Duration: 15 mins
A friendly, no-pressure chat to explore your goals, answer questions, and see if I’m the right therapist for you.

Step 2:
INITIAL Consultation
Duration: 45 Minutes
A relaxed, supportive in-person conversation where we explore what’s brought you here, your hopes for moving forward, and any questions you may have. I’ll also gather relevant background information to understand how best to support you.
We’ll also look at how the brain works in relation to the changes you’d like to make, and how thoughts, habits and emotions influence the way we think, feel, and respond.
The Initial Consultation comes with no pressure or commitment. You can take your time and simply see what feels right for you. Many people find they leave the session feeling inspired, positive and excited to begin their therapeutic journey.
Step 2:
THEN OUR WORK TOGETHER BEGINS WITH FOLLOW UP SESSIONS
Duration: One hour
These weekly sessions begin with psychotherapy, SFH a talking therapy where we focus on your prefered future. It is both empathic and nurturing building on your strengths to overcome challenges, the ability to do so is always there, just possibly hidden at this time. We use a blend of techniques from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) will help guide you. This is followed by 20/25 mins of hypnosis, deep guided relaxation
How it works & what to expect
In session:
20/25 mins of talking therapy.
20/25 mins of deep guided relaxation and hypnosis.
In between sessions :
You’ll have a bespoke guided relaxation audio to use between sessions, supporting calm reflection and helping to consolidate the progress you’re making. .
How long will it take TO ACHIEVE THE BEST RESULTS?
Everyone is different, so the number of sessions varies depending on your situation and how the issue affects you. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is generally focused and goal-oriented, and the length of support depends on your individual needs.
Many people find that 6-12 sessions provide a useful framework for working on their goals, though some challenges, such as specific phobias, may be explored in fewer sessions.
